• Tips for use: 1. You will need to pre-burn the top edge of the wick before you put in the tank, so that the top is level and doesn't smoke. To do this, after you install the wick and while you have the flame spreader removed, raise it so that all of the top edge of the wick is slightly above the top of the wick tubes.
• 2. Squirt cigarette lighter fluid all along the top edge of the wick and light it. It will burn for a few minutes until it is burned down even with the top of the wick tube, then it will go out. Take the edge of a knife and scrape it until the top edge is all even with the top of the tubes. The wick is now level and you can fill the tank and light it up and enjoy!
